The challenge
Dr. Lyssett Martínez built City Mindful around a promise: affirming, culturally humble care for people navigating identity, trauma, and life transitions. Her practice spans three cities, two languages, and specialties, from WPATH-certified gender-affirming care to perinatal mental health, that many sites reduce to a bullet list. She needed a home online that felt as welcoming as the work itself.
What we did
We designed a warm, light-filled site anchored by natural imagery, Central Park, forests, city skylines, and elegant serif type. English and Spanish are paired throughout the brand language, the LGBTQIA+ affirming stance is front and center rather than buried, and every service page explains who it's for in plain, compassionate language. Fees, sliding scale, and free consult details are transparent by design.
The result
A website that feels like the practice: open, grounded, and genuinely affirming. Whether someone finds Dr. Martínez from Manhattan, Chestnut Hill, Mexico City, or one of 40+ telehealth states, they land on a site that says everyone is welcome here, and makes the first step feel safe to take.
