The challenge
Meal planning apps tend to fail the same way: they either hand you a 78-item grocery list that assumes you run a restaurant, or they lock you into rigid templates that ignore how you actually eat. We wanted to build something that handled the mental load of meal planning without making the grocery list feel like a punishment.
What we did
We built Fuelist with AI-generated meal plans at its core — personalized to your goals, budget, allergies, and preferences, with plans from 1 to 21 days. A custom shopping list consolidator groups and normalizes ingredients so your weekly list looks like something a real person would buy. A meals library lets you swap individual meals without regenerating everything, and past plans stay archived so nothing good gets lost.
The result
An app that handles the part of healthy eating most people hate — the planning. Fuelist is a full production iOS app with a subscription model, local-first architecture, and the kind of detail work that makes it feel built for real kitchens, not ideal ones. Fuelist is developed and operated directly by AlyraLabs LLC.
