The challenge
Psychodynamic therapy is slow, deep work, and most therapy websites sell the opposite: quick fixes and checklists. Joseph Robson needed a site that could communicate a fundamentally different promise, that lasting change comes from being understood, not willed, while still being direct about what the practice treats and how to start.
What we did
We built the site around stillness. A misty lake and treeline set a reflective, unhurried tone, and the hero leads with the practice's core idea in plain words: some patterns don't respond to willpower, they respond to being understood. Treatment areas, OCD, anxiety, trauma, and depression, each get clear, honest pages, and fees and consultation details stay one click away.
The result
A website that feels like the first session: calm, considered, and quietly confident. Visitors searching for depth-oriented therapy on the Upper East Side, or anywhere in New York State via telehealth, immediately understand what makes this practice different and exactly how to take the first step.
What we delivered.
- Atmospheric mist-and-water visual language that sets a reflective tone
- A hero built around the practice's core idea: patterns respond to being understood
- Clear treatment pages for OCD, anxiety, trauma, and depression
- Fees, insurance, and free-consultation paths that remove friction from first contact
- SEO structure targeting psychodynamic therapy on the Upper East Side and across NY
